Injured hit and run victim update
Hermine Boyadjian, the 79-year-old resident who was hit by a speeding car July 17 in a crosswalk, remains in the hospital with injuries.
She has broken ribs and isn’t expected to walk for at least another seven weeks, her son said.
Boyadjian had just left the hospital, where she visited her dying husband, at about 5:50 p.m. July 17. She was headed home when she crossed Lexington Drive just west of Central Avenue, where she was hit by a hatchback.
Her husband died that same day.
