Free drought tolerant landscaping classes available to Glendale residents

When I was reporting for my article today about local use of drought tolerant

and California-friendly plants in light of the city’s mandatory water restrictions, I learned about a free opportunity for local residents.

Atineh Haroutunian of Glendale Water & Power told me about free classes the utility will be offering from September through November to teach residents about landscaping with drought tolerant plants.

This in addition to general water conservation classes (also free!) that the utility offers.
