Police find missing woman

August 21, 2009

A Verdugo Hills Hospital nurse called police after her patient, Linda Ross, left her room and didn’t return for care, according to police reports.

The nurse feared for Ross’ safety. Ross had been admitted to the hospital for pneumonia, hypoxia and shortness of breath.

Ross needed oxygen in order to breathe.

On Aug. 16, she went to the restroom, changed out of her hospital clothes and walked out of the hospital.  Police later found her near the hospital and took her back for care.
